The Grand Canyon

I just wanted to share some photos from when we visited The Grand Canyon National Park, it was absolutely amazing! It is so hard to even imagine the enormity of the canyon when looking at it in person. We spent about 4 hours driving there and 4 hours driving back to Las Vegas, starting at about 5:30am. It was a great day, as we were on a mini bus with 3 other Australians. After the huge trek, and after stopping by Hoover Dam and Route 66, we arrived directly at the edge of the canyon. I could not believe that there were no railings or barriers surrounding the edge to protect from people falling. Even photographs don't do it justice.

The image above was a snow storm moving into the grand canyon later in the day. It was about -10 degrees Celsius.

The spectacular sunset in the images above was the highlight.
